BIPP Guide to Using Images

The British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) Guide to Using Images has been launched and can be downloaded here.

As the title suggests, it is directed at those who may use images, either for business or personal use. BIPP say, “This easy to read guide will inform you of the rights & wrongs of image use, bring your attention to some of the myths surrounding the use of images and the guide will also provide you with information on resolving issues.”

The Guide refers to photography, but also relates to all visual material, including illustration, and will be useful to show users of images who do not understand copyright and how it is applied.
