Watch out, Varoom 21’s about! Cover artist, Genevieve Gauckler, has created a fantastic creature for us, ‘I like using texture to compose the bodies of my babies…’ she says.
Varoom 21 covers the evolution of character art, breaking rules in children’s magazines, the use of digital illustration in comics and asks what is the value attributed to an image of David Bowie.
Some of the talented illustrators featured in Varoom 21 are Andrea Wan, Jake Tilson, Graham Rawle, Andrew DeGraff and Sabine Pieper.
It is available to purchase this week, both in selected shops and online, with members and subscribers receiving theirs within the next few days.
