Making Great Illustration book
How do illustrators at the top of their game put their work together? That generally hidden process is explored by the AOI’s Derek Brazell and Varoom Editorial Board member and illustration Professor, Jo Davies, in their new book Making Great Illustration.
Derek and Jo have travelled the world over the last two years interviewing 30 illustrators in their studios, accompanied by photographers to take portraits and studio images, and the resulting book is a fascinating insight into the illustrator’s world.
A blog covering the visits to Spain, USA, Norway, France, Belgium and more is now up and will include all the illustrator visits by the time of the book’s publication by A&C Black in October this year.
