Jen is a freelance illustrator and character designer from one of the more windiest parts of Ireland. She finds her inspiration in the magic of everyday moments and tries passionately to capture them in her work. She prides herself in her characters and believes  capturing “just the right “expression is paramount to a successful Illustration. She has been practising drawing characters since she herself was a child – planning all of her imaginary games out meticulously with drawings of clothes and hairstyles. Much to the frustration of her friends!

Thankfully though, all of those mountains of drawings and countless hours of planning helped carve the freelance path that she ventures on today. Previous work includes creating children’s illustrations for Horse Racing Ireland, editorial illustrations for Home Store and More and greeting cards which she sells in retail.

She is excitedly on the lookout to accept opportunities in children’s books and children’s editorial.
