World Illustration Awards: 2016 New Talent Children’s Books Category Winner’s award-winning project is published by Thames & Hudson

Ami Shin won the New Talent Children’s Books Category of the World Illustration Awards 2016 with her project ‘Mice in the City’. This has been turned into a London edition and a New York edition, both published by Thames & Hudson in the autumn.

Ami is an award-winning illustrator based in Ulsan, South Korea. She is a graduate of Cambridge School of Art. Ami’s project ‘Mice in the City’ is a book for children aged 4+ combining intricate illustrations with rhymes and a quirky take on famous landmarks.
