How was the illustration used: In online magazine
How did you make this work: When I received this commission, China had already passed through the most difficult time affected by Covid-19. So I decided to draw something full of energy to encourage people and share some of my own memorable moments, such as the rooftop concert during the quarantine. The palette of predominantly pastel colors is healing and gentle.

Biography:
Yulong Lli is a Shanghai-based freelance illustrator. He studied Visual Communication in the UK and received his MFA from the China Academy of Art in 2020. His illustration style ranged from the cultural blending of eastern and western in Shanghai. Selected clients: Apple, Airbnb, Bloomberg Businessweek, NYT, Google, Cartier, Park Hyatt, etc.
