Why did you make this work:
This is a movie poster painted for the documentary "The Lost Spring". One of the characters in the film was chosen as a prototype. It describes that people who are suffering from the epidemic finally see hope. Spring is here, but the real spring is not coming, through the cage-like bars, the spring outside is in strong color, the freedom of birds, which symbolizes their inner desire.

Yuan li is an illustrator from Shanghai,China. She graduated from Academy of Arts & Design , Tsinghua University, and worked as a illuatrator in a news site called The Paper for thirteen years. Her work is featured in illustration and animation.
