She/her - Why did you create this work?
Following the Covid-19 pandemic, I became fascinated with windows and their relationships to our lives. Windows provide us a view outwards towards the world and inward, giving us glimpses into people's lives. Being confined into our homes, windows became a gateway to the outside as well as our connection point to others. I created a series of illustrations and animations exploring this concept. - How were your illustrations used?
The pieces were presented as animations and still illustrations on social media. - What materials and techniques did you use?
The illustrations were drawn using Photoshop and the animations were animated using a mixture of Photoshop and After Effects. - Was this project commissioned?
