| ProfessionalWhy did you make this work:
I was commissioned by Walker to illustrate this book of poetry by a very young author. Nadim was only 4 years old and I wanted to make sure that his debut was treated with respect and sensitivity. I worked hard to create something he could be proud of, and that would reflect the playfulness & joy of his poetry. I also wanted to celebrate the fact that he is so young. It was a pleasure to work on.
How was the illustration used:
The illustrations are on the cover and throughout the book.
