Biography:
Xin He (Cindy He), graduated from the University of the Arts London with a master's degree. She is good at creating illustrations for Chinese classical literature. She combines the style of ancient Chinese painting with her own fantastic ideas, which makes her works look very ancient and highly recognizable. Her illustrations often tell Chinese stories, which makes Chinese ancient literature, Tang and Song poetry vivid. Xin He is also good at children's illustration, which shows the classical elements in a style which is easy for children to accept, so that children can imperceptibly accept traditional culture while learning and entertainment. Xin He doesn't like the pile of Chinese elements that are very popular in the painting world. She thinks that only plain description and sincere expression can move the audience. The oriental flavor is the mark of growth, and the composition and artistic conception are the result of the influence of local culture. Xin He is an independent illustrator, many book companies and magazines are her clients. She is membership of Shenzhen Illustration Association.
