As a self-initiated work for the development of a picturebook, the main idea was to center the narrative around a central character, a young animal – a duck. The narrative is evocative of the traditional fairy-tale format of books such as "The Ugly Duckling" or "The Wind in the Willows". A story about growing up and learning how to let go of familiar things.
