How did you make this work:
This project is a series of illustration created for After the Applause, Re-TROS special concert at Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai. Rebuilding The Rights Of Statues, better known as Re-TROS, were forerunners of the so-called China-rock explosion of the mid-2000s, where a raft of groups inspired by western post-punk rose to prominence. These illustrations insipred by Re-TROS's song: Surrender.

Biography:
I am Weston Wei, an illustrator based in New York and originally from China. My visual practice focuses on communicating stories and emotions, the goal of my arts is to build an immediate and direct emotional connection with my audience. Influenced by surrealist art, fashion styling and pop culture, I love drawing figures with vivid colors and meticulous details.
