Why did you make this work:
I have been exploring the idea of Anima Mundi, an esoteric concept of a spirit connecting all living beings, a vital force of the universe. It's an exploration of the unity of all creation, but also my tribute to animation as an art form. Small looped gifs are a metaphor for a never ending cycle of life.

It's a self initiated project, published on Instagram.

Biography:
Weronika Marianna is a Polish animator, illustrator and painter based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her animated loops and paintings offer a glimpse into a trembling and mysterious world, where creatures of various legends and myths meet between humanoid mountains.
