Why did you make this work:
Winter is strange. The short days and long cold nights. The silent snow and the bustle of the holidays. Produced as accompanying illustrations to an imagined collection of odd winter children's stories. It was also a personal challenge to create more atmosphere in my drawings and bring a surreal quality to my body of work.

How was the illustration used:
Portfolio Pieces and Holiday Cards

How did you make this work:
This work was made with a combination of traditional materials: gouache, watercolor, colored pencil, acrylic, oil pastel, and ink.
