How did you make this work:
Recently, I began my first job after graduation as a middle school art teacher. Once I had to do multiple active shooter drills with my students, I really got emotional and fearful of the world we now live in. Jodi Picoult's novel, Nineteen minutes, was recommended to me and the raw emotion captivated me. I modeled the illustration after my own classroom.

Biography:
Tatum is an illustrator emphasizing emotion and symbolism in art. Based in Michigan, she attended College for Creative Studies in Detroit, earned an undergraduate degree in both illustration and art education -- where she was awarded an Imre J. Molnar artistic achievement award. Some of her experience is her work's been exhibited in Detroit, she currently is an art teacher, and was in SOI West 61.
