Why did you make this work:
When one suffers from depression locked in the home, there are not many witnesses of the fight except for everyday objects surrounding. I decided to create an illustrated crockery set as a witness of my mental health struggles. I chose to work with ceramics as tempered yet fragile media, perfectly reflecting the subject.

Biography:
Tania Yakunova is an award-winning illustrator from Kyiv, Ukraine. She finds her inspiration in avant-garde art and design of the 20 century. Her field of work spreads from the commercial illustration, book illustration, editorial illustration, poster design, packaging for clients all around the world to internationally exhibit personal works.
