Why did you make this work:
The illustrations are selected from my personal picture book, Meisen. "Meisen", the gardener, means rose forest in Chinese. This story is about communication, expectation, and understanding in a relationship. Meisen and Aka, the little rose, love each other but in their own way. Meisen lost the little rose once but after decades it turns out that he has grown a field of roses.
