Why did you make this work:
I was asked by Dutch newspaper Trouw to illustrate the cover for their story about the many vaccinations that have to be used to create the path to an open society.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration was used as a cover illustration for the newspaper "Trouw". For the online edition I made an animated version.

How did you make this work:
I made the illustration in photoshop on my Wacom tablet.

Biography:
Suzan Hijink is illustrator, 24 years old and lives in Arnhem in The Netherlands. In 2019 she graduated on the HKU in Utrecht where she has studied illustration Design. Now she makes editorial illustrations for Newspaper Trouw, wallpaperdesigns for NLXL and she makes works of art for clients like musea or the Dutch Central Bank.
