gooddays

Un-commissioned | Professional

Why did you make this work:
Gooddays is a picture book that collects my memories over the two years I was living abroad. It was a turning point in life where I crossed the boundary of my comfort zone into the novelty that I would encounter each day. I tried to learn about diverse, colorful cultures from different countries, different languages. I do not remember every detail there but all the feelings reside vividly in me.

How was the illustration used:
Aside from residing within Gooddays, the original illustrations have been exhibited at a local gallery in Bangkok. The exhibition included a large canvas installation piece. Posters and postcards have also been distributed.

How did you make this work:
I use a combination of different paper collage techniques, acrylic color, color pencil to create my artwork. All the artworks work through my experience.
