The brief for this illustration was to portray an everyday occurrence in a child's life and its potential for mindfulness. I chose to illustrate the simple pleasure of walking in the rain. This was one of a series of illustrations for the book "Mindfulness for Children" written by Uz Afzal.

My aim with this illustration was to communicate how a child can become mindful in their everyday lives. By simply being present in every moment and focusing on the little wonders of the world a child is more centered and open to learning.
