- Why did you create this work?
This is illustration is part of the very first picture book that I wrote and one idea as the cover. It features the protagonist, Diana the witch, and her cat Spencer. Together they’re on a magical journey to find a dragon egg. - How were your illustrations used?
As part of my picture book, I wanted to demonstrate the different magical worlds that Diana and her cat Spencer are traveling through in order to find the dragon egg. This book cover features the under water world as one of those magical wonderlands they have to pass through. - What materials and techniques did you use?
I initially sketched the illustration with pencil, then scanned the paper to finish the work in Procreate. - Was this project commissioned?
