Why did you make this work:
I wrote and illustrated a book profiling notable cat-loving men throughout history. The book is 112 pages and features 30 portraits, as well as hand lettered quotes and ink spot illustrations. Originally published in April with Ten Speed Press, the book has since been published in the UK with Quadrille, along with German and Korean editions.

How did you make this work:
I created the portrait illustrations by painting digitally and adding in hand drawn/rendered textures. The spot illustrations and lettering were created with brush and ink. I wrote and researched the book over the course of a year.
