- Why did you create this work?
Set on Española Island in the Galapagos, it introduces local species, Spanish phrases and concepts of anxiety and friendship. This project required me to balance factual accuracy against emotive storytelling. The book was fact checked by biologists who live in and specialize on the Galapagos Islands.
