Why did you make this work:
These illustrations were commissioned by Flying Eye Books for a non-fiction children's book about the Amazon River and its surrounding rainforest. This book works as a guide to present some curious facts about wildlife, people, geography and history.

How was the illustration used:
A 80 Page Children's Book

How did you make this work:
When the publisher first contacted me, they said they were also interested in my travel journals. They mentioned that this kind of travel research I used to do could also contribute to the book and open up other insights. My big challenge in this project was to reach a balance between information and contemplation.
