Roger Rigol
Looking Camp Right in the Eye

A visualization of camp through illustration applied to clothing.

How were your illustrations used? :
College or university project, Exhibition or installation, Print/poster or postcard

How did you make this work:
This is the result of my MA Major Project, a visualization of camp through illustration and clothing. It explores the transformative quality of clothing as well as celebrates decoration, having fun and being free. Camp is shallow by definition, but that doesn't exclude it from being political as it challenges normality and pushes the limits of what we think is acceptable.
