Robin Cowcher is a Melbourne-based illustrator.

She worked for many years at ‘The Age’ newspaper in Melbourne Australia as a designer and Illustrations Editor. She has been freelancing for ten years.

Robin has illustrated several children’s books, wine and food books and works as as editorial illustrator for Spectrum in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald. Her illustrations for ‘Little Dog and the Christmas Wish’ by Corinne Fenton were nomintated for the CBCA Crichton Award for first time children’s book illustrators. The same book was the subject of the 60th anniversay Myer Christmas Windows in 2015. Her latest children’s book ‘Digger’ by Mike Dumbleton was published by Allen and Unwin in 2018 and ‘Vignette, Stories of Life and Love in 100 Bottles’ by Jane Lopes was published in 2019. She also tutors in Editorial Illustration at RMIT.
