New TalentWhy did you make this work:
When I first moved to London to pursue a Master's degree, I experienced the second lockdown which forced me and my classmates to study online. So, I wanted to illustrate the repetition of the daily routine in a tiny room in my student accommodation in combination with the anxious feeling of isolation and not knowing anyone in a country far away from home.
How was the illustration used: The illustration is a self-initiated project that is meant to be added to my portfolio and shared on my social media channels.
How did you make this work: I observed my daily routines and the view that I saw in my room and through the window every day. The first sketch was done on paper, then I used digital tools to finish the piece. The canvas was divided into panels to capture the continuous repetition that doesn't have a start or finish.
