Why did you make this work:
The dramatic increase of content poses the question of what we do with our time. Are some of us headed towards a society of useless streaming junkies that consume the moving image to placate our deep anxieties and dissatisfactions? Are we going to binge-watch a significant part of our existence while we complain of the little time we have to pursue what is meaningful to us?

How was the illustration used:
It was posted on my Facebook Page and the Instagram page as a way of creating awareness among followers, (around 3200 on my personal Facebook page and 9900 on the Instagram page)

How did you make this work:
Used Photoshop as a tool to create the illustration. I composed the two images together using references from the internet, drew and colored them to produce the final picture.

Biography:
Self-taught artist, sculptor, digital and traditional illustrator, and painter. Lanfranco has done multiple solo shows in Lima, Santiago, and Miami, with an upcoming solo show in Tokyo 2020, and collective shows in Lima as well as Santiago de Chile, Sao Paolo, Milan, Seoul, Tokyo, Miami. As an illustrator, he works with local print magazines, advertising agencies, and interior design firms. He is a Fulbright scholar in 2005 with MS in Mass Communication from Boston University. He lives in Lima, Peru.
