'Her digital Avatar' is my personal art project that I am working on sometimes. After the world shifted faster than we could imagine, I realized I should look into myself more than ever. I created this whole girl avatar, the looks of the avatars imply my current feelings. It includes the sustainable materials, my thoughts about disposal garbage, and fashion makeup etc.
How was the illustration used: It is a personal project that not just included an art series of self exploration, also a brand new technique exploration.
How did you make this work: I start making this project since last year, where the pandemic began. This is a 2d digital illustration series which I recorded my personal feelings constantly, like a visual diary of 2020. Just like what I was saying 'Real world is disappointing sometime, dive in the virtual world with me.'

Qianhui Yu is an animation director, illustrator, creative visual artist living in London, who specialized in character design, also enthusiastic about making creative visual design. Graduated from Royal College of Art in 2020 with a MA in Animation. Her works have been appeared in Adobe Creative Cloud, American Illustration Gallery, Society of Illustrators, British Film Institution Player etc.
