How did you make this work:
I created these illustrations for the Instagram challenge “Powerful Women Week” which I host annually with a group of female illustrators. Drawing challenges with a prompt list for inspiration and a specific deadline, are a great way to create personal work.
For this challenge, I wanted to practice frame-by-frame animation and composition and also show confident women who encourage each other.

Petra Braun is a freelance illustrator based in Austria. She specializes in digital illustration and emphasizes women’s empowerment and love of nature in a modern, feminine, bright, and playful style. She focuses mainly on editorial and publishing work and has collaborated with clients like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Macmillan, and Greenpeace.
