Why did you make this work:
It was a commission for the exhibition of celebrating 165th anniversary of Antoni Gaudí. There are seven properties built by the architect have been recognized as UNESCO World Heritage, so I was commissioned to create a series of the work of Gaudí, which would be mainly introduced on exhibition. The criteria were depicting the facade with its creative details and colours.

How was the illustration used:
In print and online adverts, on postcard, notebook and badge, on large colouring canvas on event.

How did you make this work:
I used ink on German paper to create the line by free hand and digitally coloured the work in Photoshop. The accuracy of the proportion and number is critical when depicting the architectures. I also need to compose the correct angle and facade by researching many photos. The most challenged and interesting thing is to keep the consistency of bold usage of colour by Gaudí.
