To Illustrate an article for International Rescue Committee featuring the personal story of a South Sudanese thirteen-year old girl and her family. She was abducted by her uncle at gunpoint and then sold to a man so he could pay for his own wife - a practice known as "bride price".
Additional Information:
International Rescue Committee commissioned this as part of a campaign to highlight and help end violence against woman and girls across the globe under the banner #16days. The work was used across all their web platforms.
