Why did you make this work:
I took a month off from paid work to experiment and develop my portfolio, this is one of the images I produced. I was trying to create something with the look and feel of an old children's book, printed using lithography, that inspired me as a child.

I started off by creating textures using different print methods. I used these to create the image digitally in photoshop

Biography:
Patrick lives and works in the UK using Photoshop, Illustrator and sometimes even real art equipment to create his work. He specialises in illustrating picture books for younger readers and draws best when listening to podcasts or dusty old records and drinking gallons of green tea.
