Why did you make this work:
After several unsuccessful attempts to find mushrooms, I started to hate this activity. But I'm sure that failure shouldn't stop us from searching and trying. With this ironic illustration I wanted to tell that there are many possibilities around us, all we need is right view of the world.

How did you make this work:
I used Chinese ink and watercolour pencil, than I scanned my drawings, coloured and combined them in Photoshop with lots of experimenting.

Biography:
Olga Shtonda is an illustrator from Kharkiv, Ukraine. She studied Graphic Arts at Kharkiv State Design and Arts Academy (2009-2015) and editorial illustration at Ars In Fabula illustration school in Italy (2019-2020). Olga creates illustrations for children's books, book covers, magazines, posters, she's also fond of making her own stories and short Gif animation.
