The illustration should accompany a piece by Martin Amis entitled "Oktober". It is a piece of Amis on a book tour and his observations in Germany, that describes the Oktoberfesters juxtaposed in a subtle way with the influx of immigrants. As part of the "Fiction" section of the New Yorker the artwork should work as a book cover, we were asked to create type/author's name and title, too.
