Why did you make this work:
I created this work for general audiences who interested in the story of nature. I depict the external structures of the grasshopper related to the prominent features. A creative challenge is to create an informative and aesthetic illustration using the combination of a simple form and realistic image to present the information related to the role of the grasshopper in the environment.

How was the illustration used:
The infographic poster is intended to share meaningful information using the competency of an illustration to communicate with an audience. This artwork can be both in printing and digital format.

How did you make this work:
I started the project by studying the anatomical structures from grasshopper dissection in the laboratory class, which aims to create accurate artwork from a real specimen. I use the watercolor combining with color pencils to create the main image of the grasshopper. The layout design and other schematic elements, such as the head and food pathway, are created using the Adobe Illustrator program.
