How did you make this work:
This series is for an illustrated edition of The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger. These illustrations tell the story of Holden Caulfield's journey through New York as he struggles to find connection and purpose in the adult world. I explore various ways to communicate the character's isolation and deteriorating mental state, using a combination of traditional media and digital painting.
