Why did you make this work:
I created this cover for a brief set by Tangent Publishing in the 3rd year studying Illustration at the University of the West of England; I won the award and had my design published on 2019's Anthology Cover.The Illustration is based on a cut through of lives of an apartment building, with different colours representing different rooms.

How was the illustration used:
Book Cover for Bristol Short Story Anthology Volume 12; Published in the UK in September 2019 by Tangent Publishing.

How did you make this work:
Digital Collage , using Photoshop to overlay shapes and changing the opacity to create shading and highlights.

Biography:
Naomi Ann Clarke is an award-winning graphic artist, based in Bristol, working for a number of clients; such as Tangent Publishing and The Everyday Magazine.She creates bright, colourful digital illustrations driven by research, inspired by locations and cultures that interest her.Naomi is a determined, highly qualified Editorial illustrator and Book cover Designer.Graduating with a First Bachelors Degree in Illustration, at the University of the West of England, Naomi now has her base in Bristol.When not in the studio, Naomi spends her time travelling, hiking and exploring cultures. This is the main inspiration for her work.You can catch Naomi at local markets and craft fairs - selling prints and cards.
