Usage: This image was used to promote the Modo 10 series launch.
Process: I used the new 3D procedural modeling tools in Modo 3D software. The image was rendered in Modo and some painting and color correction was completed in Photoshop.

Brief Requirements: This was an experimental 3D image made during the beta engineering phase of Modo 10.1. The Foundry requested it's use for promotional purposes.
Key Brief Ideas: This was a self initiated work that was created by pushing the software modeling boundaries. During experimentation, I had an epiphany of a portrait which could also be perceived as a landscape. Each structure is unique and alive with various emanations arising from the surface.
