Mingzhou Zhang from China, was elected as IBBY President in 2018. He is a board director of China’s Publishers Association and Executive Vice President of China’s Children’s Literature Research Society. He was the person who resumed BIB contact with China and was a Jury Member of BIB 2013 and was BIB Jury President in 2021. He is also the Founder of Lifetree Culture Promotion Centre, a not for profit organization for quality children’s books.
