Max Bartram
Why so panicky?

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
I created this book as my graduation project. I have chosen to explore the uncomfortable topic of panic attacks by showing it through illustration. Anxiety disorders are widespread, and it is of significant relevance to further address this topic. Since panic attacks can be an overwhelming and in general not very enjoyable topic, I decided to approach it in a lighthearted way.

How was the illustration used:
The book has 86 pages and consits mainly of illustrations but is also accompanied by some text information.

How did you make this work:
All illustration were done digitally in Photoshop. I used a flat brush for blocking out the colors and a grainy brush for lightning and texturing. The book was printed 15 times, but I may reprint it, if there comes the opportunity to do so.
