Why did you make this work:
I was commissioned to illustrate 3 perfumes created by Createur 5d'Emotions in collaboration with Arturetto Landi. Inspired by the traditional Romanian Fairytale's love triangle, smelling of red hearts, golden apples' kingdom and supernatural powers, they present the modern versions of the most known characters of the old Romanian fairytale: the Magic Princess, Prince Charming and the Feared Ogre

How was the illustration used:
The illustrations were used for the perfumes' packaging

How did you make this work:
The illustrations were hand painted with inks and watercolour on paper, the text was handwritten as well. Then the artwork was scanned and prepared for the printing files.

Biography:
Madalina Andronic is a Romanian illustrator currently based in Italy, drawing inspiration from naive art, folklore, love and travels, never forgetting the magic of where she comes from. With an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College or Arts, London, she developed a strong and distinctive style and is working for clients all around the world (publishing, editorial, advertising, commissions, porcelain), as well as having12 published books in Romania, Spain, UK and US.
