How were your illustrations used? :

How did you make this work:
I developed this picture book after learning about the role of dogs in the trenches of WW1, as I was deeply affected by their bravery and sacrifice and felt that theirs was a story that needed to be recognised. I made the work in layers of paper with ink and watercolour, deliberately using fragile, watery materials that I felt reflected the tone of the piece.

Biography:
Lyndsay lives and works in Cambridge, UK and graduated with an MA in Children's Book Illustration in 2020 from Cambridge School of Art. She is an art therapist and psychotherapist as well as an illustrator and likes to make work that explores deep emotional themes, using layers of paper and light.
