- Why did you create this work?
I was asked by Chatty Feet to design a collection of socks inspired by Alice in Wonderland, where each pair of socks was based on a character from Alice's world: Alice, Footerpillar, Queen of Heels, and The Chatty Cat. - How were your illustrations used?
The illustrations were applied on the socks and their box. - What materials and techniques did you use?
All the characters were designed in Illustrator, and the box illustration was made with Photoshop. - Was this project commissioned?

Lorenza Cotellessa graduated in Interior design at “IED” in Rome, and after living in London for a while she realised that she wanted to become an Illustrator and she moved to Milan where she attended “Mimaster”.
Today she works as a freelance illustrator for both the editorial and the advertising fields, collaborating with clients such as Mondadori, Chatty Feet, Indesit and Popshot Magazine. - Where are you currently based?
