I think that beauty can be double-sided concept. This book shows the beautiful and fancy forest with many poisonous mushrooms. I wanted to tell the readers about the relativity of concepts at this book.
How was the illustration used: I made this book as an artist book, a concept book. It is accordion type. The contents and form are not general, so it can be considered as the alternative book. The front side of the book contains the beautiful forest. But the backside shows the story of each poisonous mushroom.
How did you make this work: I used gouache, ink and the korean traditional paper(jangji) for this painting. I draw by using line and paint in the flat style as the Korean folk painting.
