Why did you make this work:
This piece was part of the 'Walk Don’t Walk' exhibition with Out of the Blueprint. They commissioned new work by comic makers and illustrators, to push the limits of riso production. This project came at a time where I was feeling quite lost, unsure what path to take and worried that I was loosing time to figure out what I wanted in life. So I decided to explore these thoughts in my piece.

How was the illustration used:
The intent was to create an experimental long form comic/zine by pushing the limits of riso production. This project was organised to celebrate Out of the Blueprint‘s 5th birthday.

How did you make this work:
The images where created digitally then riso-printed in-house at the Blueprint studio. The standard size for risograph prints are A3, but for this exhibition longer pieces of paper were fed through to create the long running comic. The piece was also made using 4 riso inks but I played with overlaying them to create other colours.
