To make a series of ceramic sculptures showing how difficult it is to say 'good bye' to a person dear to you.
How was the illustration used: online portfolio
How did you make this work: The expression 'to lose one's heart' describing the state of deep sadness can be translated into Russian as "руки опускаются" which literally means 'your hands get down'. The normal length of hands isn't enough to hold somebody as close as you want to and after the separation your hands will only get longer and lower.
This was my first experiment in ceramics.
