Why did you make this work:
This work was created to depict Loiasis is an infectious disease caused by a parasite called Loa loa, which is basically a very small worm. Mosquitoes transmit the parasite when they feed on a person by injecting the worm in the blood. Loiasis is present mostly in central Africa, specially Cameroon.

How was the illustration used:
It was one of the cover illustrations competitions.
