Hello Nomads

Children's Publishing

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
The project is inspired by the customs, patterns, colours, animals and ways of living closely with nature of nomadic tribes around the world. Nomadic families move according to the nature circumstances of the season. They own no land therefore they take care of the area they stay very carefully: the land is shared with everyone and animals.

How was the illustration used:
This illustration is part of my non-fiction book about three nomadic families. The illustrated project shows their wisdom of living in wild environment and traditional handicrafts customs.

How did you make this work:
The illustrations of this project were created by using monoprinting because of its unique texture and layering effect. Images were first drawn on a PVC plate with oil based paint and then printed by using a printing press.
