How did you make this work:
This work was created from my obsession for drawing intricate and realistic human anatomy and combining that with my love of bright, graphic colour. Fruit has regularly been a subject of my work as I love the natural colour blocking elements. The piece was drawn with a variety of graphite pencils (mostly HB for sharp detailing), and then digitally illustrated in PhotoShop using a Wacom tablet.

Biography:
Katie is a Scottish-Kiwi artist, illustrator and graphic designer currently based in Auckland, New Zealand. She specialises in fine graphite drawing and colourful digital illustration, centred around her fascination with humans and our shared experiences. Having worked both in-house and freelance, Katie has experience across publishing, branding, communication design and private commission work.
